How to create a winning hand in Teen Patti

by Saint Kian

Introduction

If you’re looking to up your game in Teen Patti, then you’ll need to know how to create a winning hand. In this blog post, we’ll go over the basics of the game and provide some tips on how to increase your chances of coming out on top.

Teen Patti is a popular card game in India that is similar to poker. The object of the game is to have the highest-ranking hand at the end of the betting round. The three most common ways to win are by having the highest card, having the best sequence, or having a flush (all three cards of the same suit).

When betting in Teen Patti, there are two main types of bets: the Patti chart and the sideshow. The pot is the main pool of money that all players contribute to and can only be won by having the highest-ranking hand at the end of the round. The sideshow is a side bet that can be made between any two players at any time during the game. This bet can be won even if you don’t have the highest-ranking hand, so it’s a good way to try and increase your winnings.

Keep these tips in mind next time you play Teen Patti and you’ll be well on your way to coming out ahead!

The basics of Teen Patti.

The three cards

The game of Teen Patti is played with a regular deck of 52 cards. The Ace is high and the Two is low. There are no jokers used in the game. Each player is dealt three cards face down. Before looking at their cards, each player puts an equal amount of chips or money into the pot.

The betting process

Once all players have put an equal amount into the pot, the betting begins. The player to the left of the dealer starts the betting. They can either bet or check. If they bet, then all other players must either call (match the bet) or fold (give up their hand and not bet any more). If all but one player folds, then the remaining player wins the pot and doesn’t have to show their cards.

If two or more players stay in after the first round of betting, then there is a “showdown” and everyone reveals their cards. The player with the best hand wins the pot.

The show of hands

The ranking of hands from highest to lowest is as follows:

1) Straight Flush: Three cards in sequence of the same suit (for example, 3♥ 4♥ 5♥).

2) Three-of-a-kind: Three cards of equal rank (for example, K♠ K♦ K♣).

3) Straight: Three cards in sequence but not all of the same suit (for example, 9♣ 10♠ J♦).

4) Flush: Three cards all of the same suit but not in sequence (for example, Q♦ 10♦ 7♦).

5) Pair: Two cards of equal rank (for example, A♠ A♥).

6) High card: When you don’t have any other type of hand, your highest card will be your “pair” (A♠ K♥ 9♦ would lose to A♣ Q♥ J♦ because even though both players have a pair—aces—the second player’s next highest card is a queen while the first player’s is only a nine).

The suits of the cards have no value in Teen Patti. Only the rank (Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King) is important.
