CarLou Interactive Media & Publishing began in 2004, after Tess Cacciatore launched the company in honor of her deceased parents Carolynn and Lou Cacciatore. After the passing of both of her parents in 2003, Tess restarted her dance career with belly dance. Shortly into the new year Tess woke in the middle of the night with an inspiring dream and Bella Wishes was born.
Bella Wishes is a early learning children’s book, about a belly dancing hippopotamus who dances from page to page, encouraging reading for kids and instilling a healthy lifestyle and confident self image for dance, movement and exercise.
That same year Cacciatore (AKA Tessa May) wrote and produced the theme song “Boogie with Bella” to accompany the book. Tess sent the book to the printing presses and by October 2004 Bella Wishes was gracing the stands in nationwide bookstores, such as Barnes & Noble, Borders, Storyopolis and other major bookstore chains. Tessa May began a multi-city tour, where the book lectures became an interactive dance workshop for kids and their families.

COMING SOON “Families on the Go with Bella & Bo! is an interactive cooking series that highlights the animated characters (Bella, Bo, Louie the Tree and the Singing Garden) to entertain kids while they learn how to instill healthy life choices, and to inspire the inner chef in us all.
